Read this before you order TB-500 from anyone. "TB-500" is used commercially for two different molecules: the short acetylated fragment, and full-length thymosin β-4. They differ in mass by more than five times, and the analytical literature that applies to one does not apply to the other.
What we supply is the fragment: N-acetyl-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln — seven residues corresponding to positions 17–23 of thymosin β-4, capped with an acetyl group at the N-terminus. It contains no cysteine, so there is no disulfide bond to preserve.
